Providing the support that keeps our technical teams running smoothly

We're looking for a Technical Support Administrator to join our team and provide a wide range of administrative and coordination support activities that help keep our operations running effectively.

This is a varied role that sits at the centre of several key business processes, supporting technical teams with everything from compliance activities and customer enquiries to project tracking, training coordination and asset data management. You'll work with a broad range of stakeholders across the business, helping keep information accurate, activities on track and customers updated throughout the process.

If you're highly organised, enjoy variety in your work and take pride in delivering excellent support to colleagues and customers, this could be a great opportunity to develop your skills within a busy operational environment.

Why you'll love this role

- Be at the heart of the team by providing essential administrative and coordination support across a wide range of operational and technical activities.

- Enjoy a varied workload covering project tracking, customer liaison, compliance monitoring, training coordination, financial administration and asset data management.

- Support operational teams by helping keep key activities organised, coordinated and progressing as planned.

- Build relationships across the business by working with operational teams, managers, suppliers, customers and other key stakeholders.

- Make a real difference to customer experience by supporting the resolution of enquiries, complaints and appointments in a timely and professional manner.

- Help improve the way we work by spotting opportunities to simplify processes and make day-to-day activities more efficient.

- Develop your technical knowledge through involvement in specialist activities such as records management, statutory drawings, permitry support and training coordination.

- Play an important role in compliance and governance by helping ensure data, records and processes are maintained accurately and in line with company requirements.

What You'll Bring

- Strong administrative experience – Able to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

- Excellent organisational skills – Comfortable coordinating activities, tracking progress and ensuring actions are completed on time.

- Customer and stakeholder focus – Experience supporting colleagues, customers and external partners in a professional and responsive manner.

- IT and systems capability – Confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word, together with other business systems and databases.

- Attention to detail – Able to maintain accurate records, process data correctly and ensure information is complete and up to date.

- Communication skills – Comfortable communicating clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

- Problem-solving approach – Comfortable questioning existing processes, suggesting improvements and helping implement changes where needed.

- Relevant knowledge and qualifications – Administrative qualifications, IOSH or SCO accreditation would be advantageous, although equivalent experience will also be considered.

This role is key to keeping a wide range of operational and technical activities running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business to make sure information is accurate, activities are coordinated effectively and customers receive the service they expect from Cadent.

Interviews are expected to take place w/c 16/11
