Summary

We are looking for an experienced and committed Adult Mental Health Support Worker to join our supported living service on a permanent, full-time basis.

You will support adults with mental health needs to live as independently as possible while promoting their dignity, choice, wellbeing and safety. We are looking for someone who is confident working within a supported living environment and can provide person-centred support to individuals who may present with complex or challenging behaviours.

Essential requirements

Hold a full UK driving licence and be confident driving as part of the role Have current PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) or CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training Have previous experience supporting adults with mental health needs Be looking for permanent, full-time employment Be available to work 40 hours per week, including shifts as required Have good communication and interpersonal skills Be able to remain calm and professional in challenging situations Understand safeguarding, confidentiality, professional boundaries and person-centred care
