Production Planner

Mansfield (due to location, you must drive and have own transport)

£33,600 plus overtime – weekly paid role

Monday – Friday 6am – 3.30pm

We are currently recruiting for a Production Planner based in the Mansfield area for a fast-paced, high quality food production company. As the Production Planner you will be responsible for ensuring and producing daily production plans and ensuring they are communicated along looking ahead for improvements, waste reductions, and developments.

Responsibilities / Duties of the Production Planner:

• Reporting daily to the Planning Manager

• Ensuring efficient order processing and solving any issues with system error

• Effective communication with departments to maintain compliance with stock control and managing as needed

• Producing daily and evening production plans

• Confidentially question performance to reduce waste and ensure continuous improvements

• Monitoring production output performance throughout the day

• Reporting costs, stock levels, and production performance

• Provide cover for the Planning Manager

Skills and experience needed for the Production Planner:

• Strong communication and attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Proven problem solving and leadership skills

• Be confident and self-motivated

• Knowledge of stock management systems

• Ability to work in a fast paced, quick changing environment

• Willingness to embrace and work with AI tools

• Support use of new technology and systems
