Summary

Do you have experience in a healthcare environment? Are you computer literate with a knowledge of hospital IT systems? Then our ward clerk opportunity may be what you are looking for.

We are looking for someone to join on Gunning ward, a 28 bedded Trauma and orthopaedic surgical ward. We care for patients who are acutely unwell in a fast turnover environment.

We are looking for a team worker who is friendly, organised and pays attention to detail. You will have excellent spoken and written communication skills and be computer literate.

Please note that the role involves working Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00.

You will act as the initial point of contact for patients, visitors and callers to the ward ensuring their needs are met promptly and politely.

You will assist the ward staff in the smooth running of the ward by taking responsibility for the routine, administrative aspects of the ward organisation.
