Hotel Duty Manager - £50k+ Package

Edinburgh - Boutique Hotel

Superstar DM required

As Duty Manager, you'll take overall responsibility for the hotel operations in the absence of the senior management team, assisting departments where needed, ensuring both service excellence and strong customer service skills are evident at all times. The role exists to provide clear leadership throughout the hotel, team accountability and operational direction across all departments. You'll bring together commercial focus and creative hospitality to deliver experiences that reflect such a high-profile destination.

The successful Hotel Duty Managers £50k+ package includes £40k salary plus tronc dividends & multiple non-monetary benefits.

The Duty Manager role itself

* Overseeing all hotel operations across food and beverage, events, security and health and safety practices.

* Ensuring the venue is consistently presented to the highest standards.

* Leading, inspiring and developing high-performing on-site teams, setting clear standards and expectations.

* Assist in managing recruitment, training and succession planning to build capability and resilience across the departmental teams.

* Promoting employee engagement and wellbeing through inclusive, visible leadership and regular recognition.

* Acting as the main point of contact for venue stakeholders, clients and suppliers, building strong working relationships, where and as needed.

You, the Duty Manager

* Proven experience in senior hospitality management roles in high-end, luxury operations.

* Strong commercial acumen with P&L responsibility at some stage.

* Possess exceptional leadership and people management skills.

* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.

* Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

* Desirable: WSET qualified.

* Broad knowledge of food and wines.
