Summary

Job Description

We are looking for a Committee Officer to provide high-quality support to the Council’s committees and decision-making processes.

You’ll be organised, confident and able to work accurately in a busy environment, supporting the preparation of agendas and meetings, providing clear procedural advice, and ensuring decisions are properly recorded and followed through.

We’re looking for someone with good judgement, attention to detail and strong communication skills, who enjoys working with a wide range of people and helping good governance happen in practice.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

Fixed term contract for a period not exceeding 31/01/2028
