Salary: £22.00 per hour, rising to £22.66 per hour after successful probation

Hours: 6:30am-6:30pm

The Role

As a Level 3 HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing a range of heavy commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

·Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance

·Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults

·Completing repairs efficiently and accurately

·Carrying out inspections and safety checks

·Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults

·Completing preventative maintenance

·Carrying out repairs to a high standard

·Completing workshop documentation accurately

·Ensuring all work complies with health and safety requirements

·Working effectively as part of a professional workshop team

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

·Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent - essential

·Previous experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic

·Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

·Experience working on heavy commercial vehicles

·Good understanding of modern HGV systems

·Excellent attention to detail

·Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·Professional and reliable approach

·Full UK driving licence
