Summary

Our client based in Motherwell are looking for Trainee Sign Manufacturer/Installer to join their team. They will be looking for someone to start on a temp to perm basis.

Manufacturing the signs, using metal, wood and pvc

Driving to and from sites

Installing the signs.

Apply vinyl signwriting to cars, vans & signs

Conduct inspections.

General labouring on sites.

The successful applicant will be required to work outdoors in all types of weather, use ladders, scaffolding and once trained may be required to work away from home from time to time.

Essential requirements

No sign experience required, as training will be provided throughout, however it would be ideal for anyone with a labouring, joinery or workshop back ground. Due to the nature of the job we are looking for someone who has a valid driving licence and access to their own transport. Candidates must have good communication skills with clients and colleagues, comply with all health and safety, work to deadlines. Candidates must be physically fit, as this job is very physically demanding.
