Summary
The post holder will workprimarily in thein-patient settinghowever there will be opportunities for developing an interest in the Non-Site Specific/Malignancy of Unknown Origin clinics.The main duties of the post will be to: Work with the senior management team todevelop, implement, and evaluate new pathways ofsame daycare forpatients on active cancer treatments Provide general medicineexpertiseon the oncology ward Support shared decision making, advance care planning and discharge planningforin-patientson the oncology ward Provide education and training on issues related to general medicine, multimorbidity and geriatric syndromes for the wider multidisciplinary cancer teams
