An opportunity has arisen with an established FM service provider in central London.
CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting an electrically biased Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer for a prestigious commercial office building in the City of London, close to Bank and Moorgate stations. You will be part of the on-site engineering team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the building, with a focus on electrical work. You will have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance, ideally within a high-end City office environment. In return, the company is offering a salary of £50,000 to £53,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Planned preventative and reactive maintenance across all building services
- Electrical maintenance and fault-finding: small power, lighting, distribution boards
- Emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
- HVAC: AHUs, FCUs, chillers and pumps
- BMS monitoring and responding to alarms
- Water hygiene tasks and tap temperatures
- Plumbing and general fabric repairs
- Responding to helpdesk requests from occupiers
- Supervising sub-contractors and managing permits to work
- Keeping logbooks, reports and job records up to date and audit-ready
Hours of work
- 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
- 11:00 to 23:00
Package
- Salary of £50,000 to £53,000 per annum, depending on experience

Requirements
- Electrical qualifications: Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds equivalent
- 18th Edition
- Multi-skilled, with an electrical bias
- Proven track record in commercial building maintenance, ideally in City offices
- Client-facing and presentable
- Hard-working, honest and reliable
