Our client, a well-established company within the fleet maintenance and transport industry, based in Colnbrook, near Slough, has an exciting new opportunity for an HGV Technician to join their team on a full-time permanent basis due to continued business growth and increased demand.

The successful HGV Technician should have:

·City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent qualification in HGV maintenance and repair

·Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems

·Good understanding of health and safety legislation and workshop best practices

·Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

·Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

In this role, the HGV Technician will be responsible for:

·Carrying out inspections, servicing and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles

·Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults

·Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections and ensuring compliance with industry regulations

·Completing service documentation, job cards and maintenance records accurately

·Supporting apprentice technicians and contributing to the smooth running of the workshop
