Summary
Production Operative
Due to continued growth and customer demand a specialist equipment manufacturer, of high value products, now has a requirement for an additional Production Operative to join a team of Engineers, Technicians and Production Operatives.
Responsible For:
The manufacture, test and inspection of equipment in accordance with the companies quality standards.
Main Duties:
- Assist in the assembly and finish of moulded parts as directed by the Team Leader.
- Adopting good workmanship standards, paying particular attention to quality.
- Assist in the preparation of mouldings in support of the production schedule.
- Assist in the preparation and bonding of products
- Assist in the cutting, grinding and flow coating
- Assist in other areas of the manufacturing process as direct by your line supervisor.
- Assist in the production of sub-assemblies as and when required.
- Assist in the training of other personnel including new production operatives as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A good standard of general education.
- Either qualified by experience (2 years plus) or Engineering BTEC Level qualifications with 1-2 years plus experience of working in a similar environment.
- Must be practically minded and able to use conventional workshop power and hand tools.
