Butler – Temporary Hospitality Assignments | Cambridge
Select Recruitment is looking for professional, well-presented, and experienced Butlers to support prestigious colleges, private events, and hospitality venues across Cambridge.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver a high standard of formal food and beverage service.
• Set up and maintain dining rooms, tables and service areas to a professional standard.
• Serve guests with discretion, courtesy and attention to detail.
• Assist with formal dinners, private functions and special events.
• Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene.
• Follow all health and safety, food hygiene and service procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the wider hospitality team to ensure a smooth and professional service.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Butler or in formal fine-dining hospitality is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance, punctuality and a strong attention to detail.
• Confidence delivering formal table service and interacting with VIP guests.
• A reliable, flexible and discreet approach to work.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under pressure.
Location: Cambridge and surrounding areas.
Pay: £15.50 - £19.00 per hour - depending on experience
