Summary

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Van Technician, LCV Technician or Light Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a busy fleet workshop in Derby. Applicants must have at least three years' workshop experience, hold a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and possess a Full UK Driving Licence. Previous LCV experience is advantageous.

Location: Derby

Salary: Up to £16 per hour DOE + £1,500 Joining Bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm – No Weekends

Vehicle Technician / Van Technician Role

- Service, maintain and repair light commercial vehicles and fleet vehicles

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults

- Carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance

- Complete vehicle repairs to manufacturer and workshop standards

- Prepare vehicles for MOT testing

- Maintain accurate job cards and service documentation

- Ensure all work meets workshop quality and safety standards

Vehicle Technician / Van Technician Requirements

- Minimum three years' experience as a Vehicle Technician, Van Technician, LCV Technician or Automotive Technician

- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ, City & Guilds, IMI or equivalent)

- Strong mechanical servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills

- Experience using vehicle diagnostic equipment

- Full UK Driving Licence

- Previous light commercial vehicle experience is advantageous
