Summary

Our client, a well-established, family-run main dealer group in North Northamptonshire, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join its growing team.

This Vehicle Technician opportunity offers a competitive basic salary of £36,000, negotiable depending on experience, with an OTE of £42,000 including bonus. Working as a Vehicle Technician, you will join a supportive team within a growing automotive group following the acquisition of a new franchise.

Duties:

- Key responsibilities for the successful Vehicle Technician include servicing, maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles.

- Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment

- Repairing and replacing components, including brakes, suspension and transmission systems

- Ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications and workshop standards

- Completing job cards and maintaining accurate service and repair records

- Working professionally as part of an experienced workshop team

Requirements:

- To be considered for this Vehicle Technician vacancy, you must have previous experience in a workshop environment.

- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities

- Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance and general vehicle repairs

- Competence using modern diagnostic tools and equipment

- A professional, reliable and team-focused approach

- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or an equivalent qualification, is preferred but not essential

- Individuals applying for the Vehicle Technician role should demonstrate high standards of workmanship and customer service
