Summary
Are you looking for ongoing work where no two days are the same?
Our client is based in Worksop is looking for experienced Support Workers to work alongside their established team in this lovely care home. This care home has the facilities for up to 6 residents and they specialise in supporting individuals with moderate to severe Autism and Learning Difficulties. Their aim so to assist their residents in living a varied but fulfilling life, promoting independent living skills. It is desirable that you have experience of dealing with clients with Autism and Learning Difficulties or have a good understanding of this.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting the clients with their personal care if required, ensuring their comfort and hygiene needs are met, always maintaining their dignity.
• Follow individualised care and activity plans to meet their residents unique physical and emotional needs of each client.
• Complete logs throughout the day and report accurately to maintain seamless continuity of care.
• Work effectively and professionally alongside the existing care team in performing checks throughout the night.
What We Are Looking For
• Previous experience with Autism and Learning Difficulties is desirable but not essential.
• An empathetic, patient, and highly motivated attitude towards care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy.
For this role, you must have;
- A least 3 months experience in a Care setting.
- A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service, or the facilities to pay for a DBS at a cost of £49.50
- Relevant mandatory training such as Moving and Handling, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control and Food Hygiene, ideally with the certificates to prove this dated within the past 9 months or we can assist you to access online training platforms so you can gain the relevant training.
- Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
- The willingness to make a difference.

This is a temporary role that can become permanent for successful candidates.
Shift Times are:-
Day Shifts – 0700 to 1500.
Other shifts are available, dependant on requirements.
Rates of pay are £12.71 per hour. You will also accrue up to 28 days paid holiday per year.
