The Role

As a Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for coordinating the efficient movement of RoRo freight across UK and European routes, ensuring shipments are managed from booking through to final delivery.

  • Negotiating rates with shipping lines and securing vessel space.

  • Coordinating the movement of out-of-gauge (OOG) cargo and heavy machinery shipments.
  • Monitoring shipment progress and providing proactive updates to customers.
  • Managing Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation and resolving operational issues or delays.
  • Ensuring compliance with customs procedures and industry regulations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience within freight forwarding, shipping or logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of RoRo operations and wheeled cargo movements.
  • Experience working with shipping lines, ferry operators or European road freight networks.
