Summary
Reporting to the Group Estates Project Manager, you will act as their deputy and provide hands-on project management and coordination across the estates capital and improvement programme. You will help maintain oversight of priorities, programmes, budgets, risks, contractors and stakeholders, and will represent or support the Group Estates Project Manager at project meetings and in day-to-day delivery matters when required.The postholder will independently manage an agreed portfolio of smaller and medium-complexity refurbishment, minor works, maintenance and improvement projects from initial brief through to completion, handover and defects close-out. The role will also manage defined work packages within major capital schemes, which will remain under the overall leadership and accountability of the Group Estates Project Manager. You will be based at Bridgwater College and will travel regularly to Taunton, Cannington and Strode.
