Summary

Personal Advisor needed in Huyton, Merseyside

This is a temporary role and the rate is £17.64ph PAYE

The reference number is: OR120449

The successful candidate will have experience supporting vulnerable young people, ideally within leaving care, children’s services, housing, youth support or a related environment. You will be responsible for helping young people who are leaving or have left care to achieve positive outcomes and make a successful transition to independent adulthood.

Working in a young person-centred way, you will manage a caseload of care-experienced young people, develop and review Pathway Plans in line with statutory requirements, attend planning and review meetings, and work collaboratively with partner agencies to coordinate effective support.

The role will involve assisting young people to access and sustain suitable accommodation, education, training and employment opportunities, while ensuring they remain fully involved in decision-making and are empowered to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, assessment and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to advocate for young people, manage competing priorities and provide practical and emotional support to help them build independence and resilience.
