Summary

Senior Employment Lawyer needed in Bury

This is a temporary role and the rate is £60.00ph PAYE

The reference number is: 000B 827F / 1

The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEx Lawyer with demonstrable experience in Employment Law and a strong track record of managing complex and varied caseloads. You will provide expert legal advice across a wide range of employment matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, discrimination claims, restructures, TUPE, recruitment issues and exit strategies.

The role will involve managing Employment Tribunal cases, liaising with ACAS, undertaking advocacy, and delivering practical legal solutions to stakeholders across the organisation. You will possess excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills, be confident building relationships with a variety of stakeholders, and have the ability to support and develop junior colleagues. A strong understanding of local government law, governance and the legislative framework within which local authorities operate will be advantageous, along with a collaborative approach and commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
