šŸ’¼ROLE: Junior Finance Business Partner

šŸ•HOURS: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours

šŸ“LOCATION: Hybrid / Remote - Birmingham - T2 Trinity Park

Mitie are recruiting for an exciting new opportunity within their Local Government and Education sector! They are recruiting for a driven Junior Finance Business Partner to be responsible for a portfolio of contracts of c.Ā£20m revenue.

Main duties:

-Preparation of monthly management accounts (SAP) and associated reporting,

-Improving processes and monitoring performance of the business,

-Work closely with the contract managers, operational teams and site admin to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting,

-Support the business to manage the budget effectively, working in partnership to flag opportunities and risks early to enable robust accounting and forecasting to take place,

-Responsibility for production of rolling forecasts, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets,

-Support efficiency initiatives through cost base insight and reviews.

What we are looking for:

-Part Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent)

-Experience in working in complex or high data financial environments is preferred,

-Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build & maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders,

-Financial, commercial and customer awareness,

-Experience of using SAP and /or CAFMs is preferred,

-Ability to think ahead, identify new opportunities and create new and innovative approaches to work related issues.
