Summary

The Best Connection Birmingham is currently recruiting for a

Logistics Administrator to join a busy logistics operation in Birmingham. This is a varied, hands-on position combining office administration with warehouse and security-based duties.

The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating vehicle collections, processing transport documentation and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for security regarding vehicle collections and driver arrivals.

Process collection paperwork and ensure collection numbers match the correct shipments.

Liaise with warehouse, transport and security teams to coordinate vehicle movements.

Ensure transport documentation is accurate and obtain the necessary signatures.

Communicate effectively with drivers and colleagues using two-way radios.

Provide cover for transport administration duties when required.

Skills and Experience Required

Fluent in spoken and written English.

Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Comfortable using two-way radios and communicating with drivers.

Flexible approach to working across office, warehouse and security environments.

Previous experience in logistics, transport, warehousing or administration.

Familiarity with transport documentation and Proof of Delivery processes.

Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment.

Hours Of Work

08:00-16:00

Pay rate

£16.44 per hour
