About the Role
The Best Connection is recruiting a reliable and customer-focused
Part-Time Delivery Driver on behalf of a growing business delivering to homes and businesses across the North West.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for regular, planned part-time work, with the potential to secure a permanent position and grow with the business.
You will typically work 2-3 days per week, following an established delivery schedule, with occasional additional runs at the end of certain months. The role will involve driving either a 3.5-tonne van or a 7.5-tonne truck, depending on your licence and experience.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver goods to residential and commercial customers across the North West.
Complete approximately 25-35 deliveries per day.
Load, unload and organise the vehicle efficiently.
Safely handle heavy items throughout the working day.
Follow planned delivery routes and meet scheduled delivery times.
Carry out sanitisation duties as required.
Provide excellent customer service and represent the business professionally.
Maintain a clean, organised vehicle and follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a genuine commitment to doing a good job. Reliability and personality are just as important as previous driving experience.

Hardworking and dependable: Takes responsibility and works well within a small, close-knit team.
A good communicator: Polite, confident and professional when dealing with customers.
Previous delivery experience would be advantageous, although full training will be provided. Candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Driving Licence Requirements
Applicants must hold a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle they will be driving.
Candidates with a full Category B licence may be considered for 3.5-tonne van driving, subject to vehicle eligibility.
Candidates holding a valid Category C1 licence may be considered for 7.5-tonne truck driving.
Candidates without a C1 licence may also be considered if they are willing to obtain the qualification.
What We Offer
£13.71 per hour.
Regular, planned part-time hours.
Daytime working hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Approximately 2-3 working days per week, agreed around availability and business requirements.
