Are you a passionate and dedicated Charge Nurse looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others?
We are delighted to be recruiting a Charge Nurse to join a large, well-respected nursing home in Bathgate, known for its positive reputation and strong Care Inspectorate ratings, including ratings of 4.
The home specialises in nursing dementia care and general nursing care, providing person-centred support in a caring, safe and welcoming environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, supporting colleagues and ensuring residents receive the dignity, respect and compassion they deserve.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading and supporting the nursing and care teams on shift.
• Delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care.
• Supporting residents living with dementia and those with complex nursing needs.
• Administering medication and maintaining accurate clinical records.
• Promoting dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing for every resident.
• Supporting care planning, clinical assessments and ongoing reviews.
• Ensuring compliance with care standards, policies and procedures.
• Working collaboratively with residents, families and the wider multidisciplinary team.
You will ideally have:
• Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in a nursing home or similar care setting.
• A good understanding of dementia care and clinical nursing needs.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• A caring, professional approach and a genuine passion for improving residents' quality of life.
