Are you a current student or graduate of a Russell Group university with tutoring experience? Looking for flexible, rewarding work where you can help students build confidence and achieve their academic goals?
The Role
GoodGrade Tutors is looking for experienced, academically strong Online and In-Person Tutors to support students from Primary through to A Level, including 11+ preparation.
Whether you're studying, recently graduated or an experienced tutor, we offer flexible, part-time opportunities that fit around your availability.

Subjects We're Recruiting For
Maths, English and Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics)
History and Geography
Modern Foreign Languages
11+ preparation, including verbal and non-verbal reasoning
What You'll Be Doing
Deliver engaging, personalised lessons aligned with the UK curriculum.
Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs.
Prepare lesson materials and monitor student progress.
Record lesson feedback using GoodGrade Hub.
Maintain professional communication with students, parents and schools.
What We Offer
Online tutoring rates:
Primary: £15 per hour
KS3: £18 per hour
GCSE: £21 per hour
A Level: £27 per hour
In-person tutoring:
£30–£42 per hour, depending on the assignment.
Flexible, part-time opportunities across the UK.
Online tutoring from a suitable location.
In-person assignments in selected areas.
Rates confirmed before accepting assignments.
Assignments depend on demand and availability; minimum hours are not guaranteed. School-based rates are agreed separately.
What We're Looking For
Essential requirements:
Currently studying at or graduated from a Russell Group university.
Minimum six months' tutoring or teaching experience.
Valid Enhanced DBS certificate suitable for working with children.
Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills.
Reliable, professional and committed to student success.
Reliable internet access for online lessons and ability to travel for agreed in-person assignments.
