Position: Project Manager – Technology Transformation

Location: Foxhills Club & Resort, Ottershaw, Surrey

Type: Full-time, fixed term 9 month contract

About Us:

Set within 400 acres of Surrey countryside,

Foxhills Club & Resort, part of the Foxhills Collection, is an established private members’ club and hotel offering an exceptional blend of golf, leisure, spa, hospitality and events. Serving over 6,000 members, the resort features three golf courses, a full-service leisure and spa facility, boutique hotel accommodation, multiple restaurants and bars, and a thriving weddings and events business. Membership is central to the operation, contributing 50–60% of total revenue. The Collection also includes Farleigh Golf Club in Warlingham, Surrey, set across 350 acres and offering a relaxed golf and hospitality experience.

The role

Working on-site, you will coordinate multiple technology vendors, internal stakeholders and parallel workstreams to deliver a successful migration from legacy systems, ensuring data integrity, operational continuity and a smooth go-live. You will work closely with the Finance Director and an existing project consultant, acting as the central point of coordination from planning through to implementation and stabilisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the overall programme plan, timelines, risks, dependencies and executive reporting.
  • Coordinate technology vendors and hold them accountable for delivery, integration and testing milestones.
  • Oversee data migration, cleansing and validation, ensuring critical member, reservation and financial records are preserved.
  • Engage department heads to capture requirements, validate configurations and drive operational readiness.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing, training, communications and phased go-live activities.
  • Lead on-site go-live support, post-implementation stabilisation and handover.

Requirements

  • Proven delivery of complex technology implementations within hospitality, leisure, resort, golf or spa environments.
  • Hands-on experience with PMS, POS, Spa/Leisure Management, CRS, Channel Management and distribution systems, ideally cloud-based platforms.
  • Strong experience in data migration, legacy system integration, data cleansing and validation.
  • Proven vendor and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, including Board.
  • Strong project management discipline, coordinating multiple workstreams while maintaining business continuity in a fast-paced operational environment.

Desirable

  • Experience with Golf and Membership Management systems, including bookings, competitions, payments and Direct Debit processes.
  • Knowledge of payment gateways, tokenisation, PCI compliance, access control and room lock integrations.
  • Experience delivering multi-site implementations across multiple legal entities.
  • PRINCE2, APM, PMP or equivalent project management qualification (desirable, not essential).

About You

Our ideal candidate will be..

  • Self-motivated, organised and able to work autonomously, make sound decisions and manage competing priorities under pressure.
  • An excellent communicator, able to translate technical complexity for non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative and credible with operational teams, with a practical, people-first approach to technology.
  • Resilient, adaptable and solutions-focused, resolving issues independently while escalating appropriately and keeping programme objectives on track.

This is a contract role for an initial period of 9 months, with the possibility of extension subject to programme requirements. The role is site-based at Foxhills Club & Resort, Ottershaw, Surrey, with a minimum of 4 days per week on-site required. Some flexibility may be considered for the remaining day, subject to programme phase and mutual agreement.
