Summary

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Health Care Assistant to come and join our team on Ward 26.

We are a 29 bedded ward who support patients who are acutely unwell. Candidates need to be enthusiastic, hard working and have a keen interest in Diabetes and Endocrinology.

We will support candidates with further training if needed within diabetes, endocrinology and general medicine.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide and support patients as necessary with personal care activities e.g. Washing, bathing, toileting, feeding.

• Recording patient information within the Electronic Patient Record (Cerner).

• Observe patients and reports any changes to a registered professional for review.

• Undertake a range of basic housekeeping and administrative duties within the clinical environment.
