Summary

Contribute as an active member supporting the delivery of Trust objectives. Support the Trusts compliance with Clinical Governance and Risk Management standards. Work closely with the MDT to ensure patients, GPs, and referring hospitals receive timely and accurate updates regarding the patient pathway (e.g., appointments, test results, procedures). Maintain strong links with regional Cancer Trackers to enable consistent, efficient, and accurate sharing of relevant information. Build and maintain effective working relationships with key clinical and administrative staff. Monitor the patient pathway to identify delays between stages of treatment, taking proactive steps to escalate or resolve issues as appropriate. Track and maintain PTL (Patient Tracking List) data for the speciality, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely updates. Check recorded clinical outcomes and ensure required actions are completed to prevent administrative delays. Build and maintain effective working relationships with key clinical and administrative staff.
