Summary

We are looking for a caring, compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team in a residential care home supporting adults with a range of care and support needs.

Roles and Duties:

* Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting and maintaining residents’ personal hygiene.

* Supporting residents with mobility, transfers and daily living activities.

* Preparing and cooking meals and assisting with eating and drinking where required.

* Carrying out household duties, including cleaning, laundry and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

* Promoting residents’ dignity, independence, comfort and emotional wellbeing.

* Following individual care plans, risk assessments, safeguarding procedures and health and safety guidelines.

* Reporting any changes in residents’ health or wellbeing.

* Supporting medication administration if trained and authorised.

* Working as part of a team to provide high-quality, person-centred care.

Shift Requirements:

The successful candidate must be flexible and willing to work a mixture of morning shifts, afternoon shifts, long days and night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays as required.
