Summary

Vehicle Technician – Edenbridge

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic to join an established independent garage in Edenbridge. Applicants must have at least 5 years' hands-on workshop experience, be confident in servicing, repairs and diagnostics, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. Formal qualifications are not essential.

Job Details

Location: Edenbridge, Kent

Salary: Up to £40,000 basic + bonus

Hours: Monday - Friday, 5-day working week, including Saturdays on a rota (day off in the week to compensate working a Saturday)

Vehicle Technician Role

- Carry out servicing and routine maintenance on a wide range of vehicles

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults

- Complete general mechanical repairs to a high standard

- Carry out vehicle inspections and health checks

- Use workshop diagnostic equipment to identify faults

- Complete job cards and repair documentation accurately

- Maintain workshop safety standards and work effectively with other technicians

Vehicle Technician Requirements

- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Mechanic – essential

- Confident carrying out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs

- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

- Ability to work independently in a busy workshop

- Reliable, hardworking and able to work well within a team

- Full UK Driving Licence – essential

- Right to work in the UK
