Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Service Advisor to join their multi-franchise-approved dealership in Gloucester, Gloucestershire. This Senior Service Advisor position offers an excellent opportunity to join a family-run automotive business with more than 100 years of trading history.

The successful Senior Service Advisor will support the Aftersales Manager, help oversee a small team and deliver exceptional customer service.

- Monday to Friday hours of 8:00am to 5:30pm, plus one in four Saturdays from 8:30am to 12:30pm.

Duties:

- The Senior Service Advisor will act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring all interactions are handled professionally and efficiently.

- Support the Aftersales Manager with the supervision, mentoring and motivation of the service team.

- Drive service profitability through effective communication, accurate documentation and proactive upselling.

- Liaise with workshop, parts and sales departments to ensure efficient internal processes.

- Maintain high standards throughout the customer journey and support departmental targets.

- Communicate with manufacturers regarding warranty authorisations and repairs.

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Senior Service Advisor, Service Advisor or in a similar senior customer service role within an automotive dealership or garage.

- Strong communication, organisational and customer service skills.

- A professional approach and commitment to achieving complete customer satisfaction.

- IT proficiency; experience using the Autoview dealer management system would be advantageous.

- Knowledge of automotive warranty procedures would be beneficial but is not essential.

- Live in Gloucester or within a reasonable commuting distance.

- This Senior Service Advisor role is suited to someone with a passion for working with a vehicle manufacturer and supporting team performance.
