Our client, a reputable automotive dealership in Maidstone, Kent, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join its professional and supportive team. This Vehicle Technician role offers a competitive basic salary of up to £38,000, a 40-hour working week and excellent long-term career prospects within the motor trade.

The successful Vehicle Technician will work within a renowned automotive service centre committed to high-quality vehicle maintenance, customer satisfaction and ongoing employee development.

As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:

- Servicing and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards

- Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults efficiently

- Completing MOT repairs and assessments

- Fitting tyres, brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension components and other mechanical parts

- Carrying out fast-fit services, including wheel alignment and tyre fitting

- Maintaining accurate repair records

- Following all health and safety procedures

- Advising customers on vehicle maintenance requirements and future repairs

The successful Vehicle Technician will have:

- An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification, or be time-served

- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar automotive role

- Experience using vehicle diagnostic equipment

- A willingness to learn and keep up to date with automotive technology

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure

- Excellent teamwork and customer service skills

- A full UK driving licence
