The duration of the contract is

The pay rate on offer is

£300 - £350 per day (via Umbrella agency).

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, proactive and commercially minded Senior Recruiter to join the UK & Ireland Talent Acquisition team. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for delivering end-to-end recruitment across a high-volume commercial portfolio in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with hiring managers and People & Culture stakeholders to understand workforce needs, build effective attraction and sourcing strategies, and deliver a high-quality candidate experience. The role requires flexibility to attend recruitment events, assessment centres, university or employer-brand activities and other hiring initiatives across the UK, which may occasionally involve travel outside standard working patterns.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from hiring-manager briefing and market mapping through to interview, offer and onboarding handover.
  • Deliver high-volume commercial recruitment at pace while maintaining quality, compliance and a strong candidate experience.
  • Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, recruitment priorities, selection criteria and realistic hiring timelines.
  • Develop targeted attraction and direct-sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, talent pools, referrals, job boards and agency support where appropriate.
  • Proactively source, engage, screen and assess candidates for commercial, sales, field-based and corporate vacancies.
  • Plan and support interviews, high-volume selection activity, assessment centres and engagement events.
  • Remain flexible to attend recruitment, employer-brand and candidate-engagement events around the country, including occasional early starts, later finishes or overnight travel where business needs require.
  • Provide hiring managers with clear market insight, candidate recommendations and regular progress updates.
  • Manage candidate communication throughout the process, including interview scheduling, progression, feedback and offer-stage conversations.
  • Build sustainable talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring demand across the UK & Ireland.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure internal processes, documentation and data requirements are followed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that make recruitment faster, simpler and more effective.

About you

  • Strong experience in in-house, RPO or agency recruitment, ideally within a large, complex or multinational organisation.
  • Proven success delivering high-volume commercial recruitment in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Confident managing multiple vacancies, stakeholders and changing priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong direct-sourcing, interviewing and candidate-assessment capability.
  • Commercially aware, comfortable using recruitment data and market insight to influence hiring decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the confidence to advise and challenge constructively.
  • Highly organised, resilient and solutions focused, with strong attention to detail.
  • Committed to inclusive hiring practices and a positive, humane candidate experience.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating closely with the wider Talent Acquisition and People & Culture teams.
  • Flexible and willing to travel across the UK to support recruitment events and hiring activity as required.

Desirable experience

  • Experience recruiting for commercial, sales or geographically dispersed field-force roles.
  • Experience delivering volume campaigns, assessment centres or multi-location recruitment programmes.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and an applicant tracking or recruitment management system.
  • Experience supporting employer-brand activity, talent events, university engagement or proactive talent-community building.

What success looks like

  • You will quickly build credibility with hiring managers, take ownership of a busy commercial recruitment portfolio and keep multiple hiring processes moving at pace.
  • You will combine strong delivery discipline with market knowledge, proactive sourcing and excellent candidate care, while remaining flexible to support events and recruitment activity across the country.
