Summary

HR Manager

Maternity cover - 12 month FTC

Swindon, Hybrid

Occasional travel to another site

£40k to £48k

One of my clients in the Swindon area is in need of a 12 month HR Manager due to maternity leave.

This is a role for a confident HR leader, and responsibilities will include day to day operations covering various Hr activity.

There are projects already in the pipeline, and you will come in and pick these up to ensure delivery.

Responsibilities:

Manage BAU HR activity

Onboarding, probation management, offboarding, case management

You will be responsible for one junior

Role model processes and procedure.

Update and maintain HR system including records, changes, documentation.

Support and guide staff

Monthly payroll administration, working alongside the finance team.

Administration of employee benefits.

Cascading of business communication.

Various HR Projects - which are in the pipeline.

Experience and characteristics needed:

Demonstrable experience in an HR position

Experience providing guidance, direction, and advice regarding HR specific issues

Great knowledge of current employment law

Experience supporting on various issues, including absence management. Performance management, DP's, Grievances etc.

Great communicator with the ability to manage both junior and senior level stakeholders.

You should feel comfortable talking with C Suite executives, and providing guidance as needed on employee matters

Discrete, professional, and respectful of others privacy.

Technical ability: Confident with MS Office suite

Desirable:

CIPD level 5

Experience with an HR system
