Summary
PRE & Law Teacher
Moore Teachers is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable PRE & Law Teacher to join a supportive secondary school. This is an exciting opportunity to teach a varied timetable, including A Level Philosophy, A Level Law, GCSE Religious Education, and Key Stage 3 RE, with the potential to teach some History and Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4.
The role:
- Teaching A Level Philosophy and A Level Law
- Delivering GCSE Religious Education
- Teaching RE across Years 7 and 8
- Potentially teaching History and Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4
- Planning and delivering engaging, challenging lessons
- Monitoring, assessing, and supporting student progress
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Philosophy, Law, RE, Humanities, or related subjects
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge across their specialism
- Be confident teaching both GCSE and A Level students
- Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Be passionate about developing students' critical thinking and analytical skills
