Accounts Payable Assistant

Fawkes & Reece are currently supporting a leading Tier 1 Contractor with their search for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking renowned contractor who are expanding their finance team.

About the role of Accounts Payable Assistant

As Accounts Payable Assistant you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments whilst supporting the wider finance team.

Responsibilities for Accounts Payable Assistant

Guarantee compliance in line with company procedure and financial legislation.

Ensure accurate data entry and payment processing with strong attention to detail.

Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

Ensure accurate data entry and payment processing with strong attention to detail.

Requirements for Accounts Payable Assistant

Previous experience within a similar role and understanding of processing invoices, reconciliations and supplier management

A strong understanding of the construction industry, including CIS & Vat

Previous experience using relevant systems including SAP, COINS & Concept

Proactive approach with a diligent nature
