Summary

Walfinch West Suffolk are hiring Community Support Workers to provide high-quality domiciliary care to our client in Newton Green. He lives with his wife who is his main carer when our staff are not present.

Assisting with Personal care, Medication management, Peg Feeding and Moving and Handling using a Sara steady.

This position is open to female applicants only. Due to the nature of the role and the environment in which the duties will be performed, being female is a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) for this position. This restriction is applied in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010

Essential requirements

Previous experience in domiciliary care or a fast-paced healthcare setting is highly desirable. Skills: Excellent communication, adaptability, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Experiece with Enteral feeding highly desirable Qualifications: NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care is a plus, or a willingness to work toward it. Requirements: A valid UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential due to the nature of the travel involved.
