Summary
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support pupils both in and out of the classroom, helping them access exciting learning opportunities and develop their independence, communication and life skills.
Essential requirements
1. Support pupils on a 1:1, small group and whole-class basis 2. Help adapt learning activities to individual needs 3. Encourage pupils' confidence, communication and independence 4. Work closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals 5. Support pupils' personal care wellbeing and medical needs where required 6. Celebrate and record progress, however small 7. Help create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment
