Summary

As a club we are moving fast both on and off the pitch, and we are focussing on strengthening our partnership function to ensure we take advantage of current opportunities within the ever-changing partnership market.

As part of this ambition, Sheffield Wednesday Football Club is looking to appoint a Partnership Sales Executive to support its commercial partnership’s function. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, this role will assist the overall partnership strategy of SWFC by securing new revenue through the acquisition of new partners.

Essential requirements

• Proven experience in partnership sales, sponsorship, commercial development or a comparable rights-holder environment • Strong track record of securing new business and driving commercial revenue growth • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills • Commercially astute, proactive and solutions-focused approach • Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools is beneficial • Passion for sport and understanding of the commercial sports landscape is advantageous Essential: • 5 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent (including Maths and English) • Full proficiency with Microsoft office suite Desirable: • Degree or Equivalent • Previous sales or relationship management qualifications
