Summary
Raw Materials Controller
The Role
We are seeking a Raw Materials Controller to join a food manufacturing business, ensuring incoming raw materials meet required quality, specification and food safety standards.
Working closely with Technical, Quality and Production teams, you will help maintain product quality, traceability and compliance while supporting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
•
Inspect incoming raw materials against specifications, including temperature, quality, packaging and labelling.
•
Identify and escalate non-conforming products before they enter production.
•
Maintain accurate specifications, intake records and traceability documentation.
•
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues.
•
Support audits and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
•
Help train colleagues on raw material checks and quality requirements.
Essential Requirements
•
Experience within food manufacturing.
•
Knowledge of raw material intake, product specifications and quality checks.
•
Understanding of food safety, traceability and audit requirements.
•
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
•
Meat processing experience would be advantageous.
Hours and Benefits

Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm or 8am–4pm.
