Summary

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a busy main dealership in Walton-on-Thames. Applicants must have previous vehicle servicing and repair experience and hold a minimum Level 2 NVQ qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology (IMI or City & Guilds). Previous main dealership experience is desirable but not essential.

Location: Walton-on-Thames

Salary: Up to £35,360 basic per annum, plus bonus and overtime, OTE up to £55,000 per annum

MOT Allowance: Additional £91 per month for qualified MOT Testers

Hours: Full Time, Permanent

Vehicle Technician Role

- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles

- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults

- Complete vehicle inspections and health checks

- Identify additional repair and maintenance requirements

- Carry out MOT testing if appropriately qualified

- Complete accurate job cards and service records

- Maintain high workshop quality and safety standards

Vehicle Technician Requirements

- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician

- Minimum Level 2 NVQ qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology (IMI or City & Guilds), or equivalent

- Strong servicing, maintenance and mechanical repair skills

- Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability

- Previous main dealership experience desirable but not essential

- Current MOT Tester Licence advantageous but not essential
