Summary

We are recruiting for an experienced New Car Sales Manager, Automotive Sales Manager or Sales Controller to join a busy main dealership in Croydon. Applicants should have previous automotive sales management or senior sales experience, with strong leadership and sales performance skills. Main dealership experience is preferred, although candidates from independent automotive businesses will also be considered.

Location: Croydon, South London

Salary: Up to £37,500 Basic

OTE: £56,000–£60,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm; Saturdays 9:00am–5:00pm; every other Sunday 10:00am–4:00pm

New Car Sales Manager Role

- Lead, support and motivate the New Car Sales Executive team

- Drive vehicle sales performance and achieve departmental targets

- Coach and develop Sales Executives to improve performance

- Support customer enquiries, deal progression and sales negotiations

- Monitor individual and team sales performance

- Maintain high customer service standards throughout the sales process

- Support the day-to-day operation of the new car sales department

New Car Sales Manager Requirements

- Previous automotive sales management or senior sales experience preferred

- Experience within a main dealership is desirable, although independent automotive backgrounds will be considered

- Strong leadership, coaching and people-management skills

- Proven ability to drive sales performance and achieve targets

- Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills

- Ability to manage competing priorities within a busy sales environment
