Traffic Management Operative – LANTRA M5

Location: Drayton, Oxfordshire

Salary: £16.81 – £17.93 per hour (PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am – 4pm (10-hour shifts, 50 hours per week)

Contract Type: Temporary with a view to permanent employment

Are you an experienced Traffic Management Operative with a LANTRA M5 qualification looking for consistent weekday hours and long-term career prospects?

Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting Traffic Management Operatives on behalf of a well-established contractor based in Drayton, Oxfordshire.

This is a hands-on role supporting traffic management operations on the highway network, helping to ensure roadworks and maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.

With regular Monday to Friday working hours, competitive hourly rates and the opportunity to secure a permanent position, this role is ideal for someone looking for stability and consistent work.

The Role Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the installation, maintenance and removal of temporary traffic management systems.

- Setting out traffic signs, cones and barriers in accordance with approved traffic management plans.

- Working as part of a team to maintain safe working environments for road users and site personnel.

- Carrying out routine checks of traffic management equipment and site layouts.

- Following all relevant health and safety procedures and traffic management regulations.

What We're Looking For

- Valid LANTRA M5 qualification.

- Full UK driving licence.

- Own transport to travel to and from the workplace in Drayton.

- Previous experience working in traffic management operations.

- A reliable, practical approach and strong awareness of health and safety.

- Ability to work outdoors and undertake physically demanding duties.

What's on Offer?

- £16.81 – £17.93 per hour, PAYE inclusive of holiday pay.

- Monday to Friday working pattern, 6am – 4pm.

- 50 hours per week, providing consistent working hours.
