This is a permanent, day-shift opportunity offering a minimum of eight hours’ pay per day, regular overtime and weekly payment every Wednesday.About the companyThe company operates in the plant and machinery hire sector, supporting customers with construction equipment through hire, servicing, repairs and parts. Its Bristol operation forms part of a wider service network focused on supplying and supporting compact construction equipment across southern Britain.Key responsibilities• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly• Delivering and collecting plant and machinery from customers and sites• Securing loads using chains and other appropriate equipment• Completing local drops and longer-distance deliveries• Carrying out vehicle and load safety checks• Completing delivery paperwork accurately• Maintaining professional communication with customers and site contacts• Working to transport, health and safety requirementsSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence• Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)• Digital tachograph card• Experience with chain and dog transport• Experience of local drops and long-distance driving• Good knowledge of safe load security• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach• Professional manner when dealing with customers• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedulesBenefits• £17 per hour• Minimum eight hours’ pay• Overtime available• Paid every Wednesday• Permanent employment opportunityApply today.
