CNC Miller / Setter Operator
Location: Warwick
Salary: Up to £39,507 per annum including shift allowance
Hours: Permanent Afternoon Shift - Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-Time
Vibe Recruit is currently recruiting for an experienced
CNC Miller / Setter Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Warwick.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Miller who is confid
ent setting and operating machines, working from engineering drawings and producing high-quality precision components.
Working Hours - Afternoon Shift Only
Monday to Thursday: 2:30pm - 11:30pm
Friday: 12:46pm - 5:30pm
This is a fixed afternoon shift, not a rotating shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
Set and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
Set tooling, offsets and fixtures, making adjustments where required.
Carry out first-off and in-process quality inspections.
Monitor machine performance and ensure production targets are achieved.
Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a
CNC Miller / Setter Operator.
Ability to independently set and operate CNC milling machines.
Confident reading engineering drawings.
Experience with CNC controls such as
Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, Mazak or Haas.
Competent using precision measuring equipment.
Good understanding of cutting tools, speeds and feeds.
Experience with 3, 4 or 5-axis milling would be advantageous.
