Summary

A manufacturing organisation based in Plymouth is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join the team on an initial 9-month interim contract.

This is a hands-on role supporting the finance function through a busy period, providing accurate financial reporting, budgeting support and commercial insight to aid business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of monthly management accounts

Balance sheet reconciliations

Variance analysis and commentary

Budgeting and forecasting support

Cost and stock analysis

Supporting year-end and audit activities

Business partnering with operational stakeholders

Assisting with process improvements across the finance function

About You

Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), part-qualified or qualified by experience

Previous experience in a management accounting role

Manufacturing experience would be advantageous but is not essential

Strong Excel skills

Able to work independently and hit the ground running

Available to start at short notice
