Summary
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and caring SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant and Lunchbreak Supervisor to join our team from November 2026, supporting pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).This is a fixed term post until 31st August 2027 subject to a budget and staffing review.Role Details:SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week Term time only + 5 INSET days Grade: Hay 10 (£16,103 – £16,895 per annum, pro rata) Lunchbreak Supervisor Monday to Friday, 5 hours per week Grade: Hay 13 (£2,946 per annum, pro rata) About the Role:The successful candidate will have experience working with children with special educational needs. They will demonstrate a caring and patient nature, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.This contract is subject to ongoing review under the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) system. The post is dependent on the continued requirement for EHCP related support. The contract, or a proportion of the contracted hours, may cease where a pupil leaves the school or where an EHCP review determines that the support is no longer required.Closing date: 12pm, Monday 9th November 2026Interview dates: Wednesday 11th or Thursday 12th November
