Summary

Experienced in fire engineering? Want more technical responsibility and the chance to work on challenging building projects?

We're recruiting an experienced Fire Engineer to take a senior technical role within a growing consultancy.

You'll work on residential and commercial developments, producing practical fire engineering solutions and advising clients throughout the design and construction process.

The Role

  • Developing fire engineering strategies for residential and commercial buildings

  • Fire and smoke modelling, including CFD and evacuation analysis

  • Advising on structural fire protection and compartmentation

  • Supporting Building Safety Regulator submissions and approvals

  • Liaising with architects, contractors and regulatory authorities

  • Carrying out technical inspections and compliance reviews

  • Managing your own projects and client relationships

What We're Looking For

  • At least five years' UK fire engineering consultancy experience

  • Experience developing fire strategies for complex buildings

  • Good knowledge of BS 7974, BS 9999, Approved Document B and the Building Safety Act

  • Experience with fire and smoke modelling software

  • Relevant engineering degree

  • Chartered or actively working towards CEng
