Summary

We are currently recruiting

reliable and hardworking Parcel Sorter / Warehouse Operative (Night Shift) to join a well-established

UK courier and parcel distribution company based in

Chelmsford.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous

warehouse, parcel sorting, logistics or distribution experience who are comfortable working night shifts in a busy depot environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Hand-sort mail and sort parcels into the correct routes and locations.

- Bag, label and prepare parcels for delivery.

- Move mail within the depot and load and unload containers.

- Scan items accurately and maintain an organised, safe working area.

- Work efficiently as part of a fast-paced depot team.

What We're Looking For:

- Previous warehouse, parcel sorting, logistics or distribution experience would be preferred

- Must have safety boots & hi-vis jacket

- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.

- Reliable with good timekeeping.

- Ability to work night shifts until all tasks are completed.

- Willingness to complete a DBS check (cost deducted from first week's pay)

- Must be available to start immediately

Job Info:

Night Shift:11:59 PM - 8:00 AM

Hours: Minimum 8-hour shift

Working Days: Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: £17:00 per hour (uplifted PAYE Umbrella)
