Summary
The Band 6 Deputy Ward Manager/Charge Nurse plays a key leadership role within an Adult Inpatient Mental Health Unit, supporting the Ward Manager in the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality care. The post holder provides clinical leadership, operational management, and professional supervision to the multidisciplinary team, ensuring that service users receive person-centred, recovery-focused care within a therapeutic environment.
To support the Ward Manager in providing clinical and operational leadership within an Adult Inpatient Mental Health Unit, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, recovery-focused care while maintaining high professional standards and supporting the development of the ward team.
